🎵 A “Thinking” ChatBot
OpenAI has unveiled its new "reasoning" AI models, named OpenAI o1, which are designed to think more deeply before responding. These models can handle complex tasks in science, coding, and math. The models are trained to refine their thinking and recognize mistakes, performing similarly to PhD students performing specific tasks.
🗣 Now That’s Surprising
Companies that have implemented AI are more likely to plan increases, rather than decreases, to their headcounts, according to a recent survey conducted by the New York Fed. Some 11.5% of service companies currently using AI plan to lay off employees in the next six months, compared to 18.9% who said they would hire new employees and 52.8% who said they plan to train or retrain employees in the same period.

Cheatsheet: Target the Right Audience for Your Latest Webinar
Facebook is being maligned with claims that its user base is too old to care about the products or services you’re trying to sell. There’s data to show this is far from the truth…
The largest user group on Facebook is aged 25-35, closely followed by the affluent 35-44 segment. This audience is aspirational, seeking career-transforming advice. It’s a perfect place to advertise courses and webinars.
Love it or hate it, Facebook gets advertising like no other social media platform. It boasts 2.11 billion daily active users.
3.27 billion people use at least one of Meta's core products daily, including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger.
We’ll help you optimise your social profile for success while helping you land a message that hits home. (super helpful cheatsheet ahead if you’re inspired to run your first ad ;)
1) Search & Rescue Your Client
FAQ: Where can I find clients if I don’t have a massive following?
Hang in there. Don’t let an unimpressive follower count bog you down. Before they became an obsessive fixation for those starved of validation, social media platforms served a simple need: connecting people.
Start looking for your ideal clients by:
Participating in Facebook groups or Reddit threads.
Reaching out for collaborations with people who are in the same industry and have clout on social media. They get a cut of the sales you make through your course.
Go offline in the search for clients.
Landing your message to the ideal client is key. It all begins with a transformational sentence to sell your course. Here’s a structure you can lean on:
I help [your target audience] go from [their current challenge] to [desired outcome] so that they can [achieve a specific benefit]
Confused about filing in these blanks?
Let’s work backwards. Why did we ask you to rescue your clients?
We think a course should act as a saving grace for them. It’s all about recognising their pain point and offering a solution.

2) Optimise For Authority
Before promising to rescue clients, you want to ensure your social media channels are optimised for success.
Bio: A line that tells people what you do and how you help people.
Cover image: An image reflecting the essence of your service
Link: A link to get in touch.
3) Build a Buyers List
The aim should be to research and find your first 50 buyers/ viewers/consumers.
DM them on social media platforms and set up a Zoom interview to understand their needs and preferences.
Identify promising clients, and set up an email list.
3) Pre-Sell Your Course
While it’s important to introduce paid advertising at some point, know that your course-selling strategy must not rely solely on it. Paid Meta ads work wonderfully well with organic non-paid efforts to sell your course or webinar.
